OverviewAre you a skilled and compassionate Expanded Function Dental Assistant looking for an exciting opportunity to gain experience within a private practice? Our team is growing, and we are seeking a dedicated EFDA to join our team and provide exceptional care to our patients.
- Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures including fillings, crown and bridge work, and other restorative procedures.
- Take dental radiographs
-Prepare and sterilize instruments.
- Chart prep in advance
-Make temporary crowns and bridges, place retraction cords, and perform other expanded functions as permitted by state law.
- Provide patient education and post-operative instructions.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
- Ensure a clean and organized work environment.
Requirements:
- Valid EFDA certification and licensure in Pennsylvania.
-Experience in dental assisting and expanded functions.
-Strong knowledge of dental terminology and procedures.
-Ability to work well in a team- oriented environment.
Salary based on experience.
Monday - Thursday 7:45-5pm
