Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and promoting oral health. This position requires a thorough understanding of dental hygiene practices, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a dental clinic environment.
Duties

Perform comprehensive dental cleanings and periodontal therapy on patients of all ages, including pediatric dentistry.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
Assist in the management of medical records, ensuring accurate documentation of patient treatments and histories.
Collaborate with the dental team to provide four-handed dentistry support during procedures.
Maintain infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for both patients and staff.
Utilize knowledge of dental anatomy to assess patient needs and provide appropriate care.
Operate dental office systems, including Dentrix software, for scheduling appointments and managing patient information.

ExperienceCandidates should possess relevant experience in a dental clinic setting, demonstrating proficiency in assisting with various dental procedures and maintaining high standards of patient care. Familiarity with infection control practices and a solid understanding of dental office systems will be advantageous. A commitment to ongoing professional development is essential for success in this role.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $52.00 - $55.00 per hour
Expected hours: 8 – 14 per week
