Who We Are

Our general dental office is located in Chatsworth near Porter Ranch. It is a well established office whose dentist graduated from the UCLA School of Dentistry. The office is known for providing quality and compassionate dental care in a welcoming and calm environment. Our staff turnover is low and our patient referral base is high. Our dentist is a kind and patient dentist and owner. 

The office asccepts PPO dental insurance and fee for service payments. We do not accept HMO or Medical payments. 

Who We're Looking For

We are seeking a mature registered dental hygienist with at least 3 years of experience. Hygienists focus soley on cleaning and polishing teeth, recognizing dental issues and educating patients on how to optimize their dental health. There is no pressure to sell additional treatments or equipment. Hygienist must be able to relate well to our multigenerational patient base and most importantly have a strong, gentle touch. 

Responsibilities

• Warmly greet each patient
• Update dental and health history notating current dental concerns
• Conduct through cleanings using hand scalers and ultrasonic unit
• Perform through exam to assess patients oral health
• take xrays and develop as needed
• educate patients on proper oral hygience techniques and the importance of regulare dental visits
• encourage patients to schedule their next recall appointment
• maintain paper charting 
• have excellent verbal ands written communication skills to educate patients, chart work performed and notate findings in a clear, concise and professional style
• after each patient implement aseptic technique to maintiasn a safe and clean clinical environment
• ensure compliance with infection control protocols in a dental clinic setting
• collaborate with dentists and staff to optimize patient care and smooth operational functions
• sterilize instrument as needed
• reset operatory at the end of the day
