Responsibilities
Conduct thorough dental cleanings and examinations for patients.
Assess patientsâ oral health and provide appropriate recommendations.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
Maintain accurate patient records using dental software such as Dentrix or Eaglesoft.
Implement infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for both patients and staff.
Assist in pediatric and general dentistry procedures as needed.
Collaborate with the dental team to enhance patient care and office efficiency.
Skills
Proficient in medical terminology related to dentistry.
Knowledge of medical coding practices for accurate record keeping.
Familiarity with dental office management software, particularly Dentrix and Eaglesoft.
Strong patient care skills with an emphasis on empathy and communication.
Solid understanding of anatomy related to dental health.
Experience in pediatric dentistry is a plus but not required.
Comprehensive knowledge of infection control standards within a dental setting.
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while managing multiple tasks efficiently.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $55.00 - $60.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 â 30 per week
Schedule:
8 hour shift
