Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our team. Salary commensurate with experience. The ideal candidate will assist dentists with various procedures and provide excellent patient care in a dental clinic setting.
Duties include:- Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations- Assist dentists during procedures by handing them instruments and anticipating their needs- Take digital dental X-rays- Maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix software- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices- Sterilize and disinfect instruments following aseptic techniques- Perform basic dental laboratory tasks such as pouring and trimming models- Schedule patient appointments and manage the front desk when needed
Skills- Proficiency in Dentrix software for medical documentation- Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures- Experience with medical imaging and X-Ray technology- Ability to maintain a clean and organized dental clinic environment- Familiarity with prosthodontics and dental prosthetics
