About the Role:
As a Dental Assistant at HMC Dental Services, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our dental practice and providing exceptional care to our patients. Your primary responsibility will be to assist the dentist during various procedures, ensuring that all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and sterilized in accordance with infection control protocols. You will also be responsible for educating patients on proper dental hygiene practices and post-treatment care, fostering a compassionate and supportive environment. Additionally, you will manage patient records and appointments using Dentrix software, contributing to the overall efficiency of the practice. Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Completion of a dental assisting program or equivalent experience.
Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certification in dental radiography.
Experience with Dentrix or similar dental practice management software.
Bilingual skills are a plus.
Responsibilities:
Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures by providing necessary instruments and materials.
Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment to maintain a safe and hygienic environment.
Educate patients on oral hygiene, post-treatment care, and the importance of regular dental visits.
Manage patient records, appointments, and billing information using Dentrix software.
