Job Description
The Institute for Men in Chino, CA, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to join our healthcare team. The RDA will provide direct support to the dental team in delivering high-quality care to the inmate population. Responsibilities include assisting the dentist during procedures, preparing and sterilizing instruments, taking X-rays, and maintaining patient records. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a commitment to patient care, and the ability to work effectively in a healthcare setting.
Qualifications
Valid Registered Dental Assistant certification
Proficient in chairside assisting and dental terminology
Experience in facility medical clinics
Knowledge of general dentistry, prosthodontics, and endodontics
Familiarity with EMR systems, including Dentrix and Eaglesoft
Strong communication skills and patient care experience
Understanding of aseptic techniques and anatomy knowledge
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $29.34 - $30.59 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
