Job Summary:

As an Oral Surgery Assistant, you will play a vital role in assisting the oral surgeon and ensuring a smooth, safe, and comfortable experience for our patients. This position involves direct patient interaction, surgical assistance, and maintaining a sterile and organized clinical environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the oral surgeon during surgical procedures, ensuring efficiency and patient comfort.

• Prepare and set up surgical rooms, instruments, and equipment before and after procedures.

• Sterilize instruments and uphold strict infection control protocols.

• Monitor and provide reassurance to patients before, during, and after surgery.

• Deliver clear pre- and post-operative instructions to patients and caregivers.

• Maintain inventory, restock supplies, and report any equipment needs.

• Perform general office duties as needed, including scheduling and answering patient inquiries.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a dental assistant or oral surgery assistant preferred but not required.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-first approach.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to patient safety and comfort.

• Experience in radiology is a plus.
