Job Description
Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, performing dental cleanings, and educating patients on oral health. This role requires a strong understanding of dental terminology and procedures, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Duties
Conduct thorough dental cleanings and examinations for patients.
Assess and document patient oral health status, including medical history and current medications.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
Assist dentists during procedures, utilizing four-handed dentistry techniques.
Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Perform documentation review to ensure all patient information is up-to-date and accurate.
Provide care to pediatric patients with an understanding of their unique needs.
Stay current with advancements in dental hygiene practices and technologies.
Skills
Proficient in medical coding and understanding of medical records management.
Strong knowledge of anatomy related to dental health.
Familiarity with dental assisting tasks and responsibilities.
Excellent communication skills for effective patient education and interaction.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team while providing exceptional patient care.
Knowledge of dental terminology to accurately convey information to patients and staff.

Pay: $50.00 - $55.00 per hour
