Job Description
Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care while ensuring the highest standards of hygiene and infection control in our dental clinic. This role requires a thorough understanding of dental terminology, anatomy, and patient assessment techniques, as well as the ability to assist in general dentistry procedures.
Duties
Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations to maintain optimal oral health for patients.
Conduct patient assessments, including reviewing medical histories and taking vital signs.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits.
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in accordance with clinic protocols.
Implement infection control measures to ensure a safe environment for both patients and staff.
Stay updated on the latest advancements in dental hygiene practices and technologies.
Requirements
Valid state license to practice as a Dental Hygienist.
Strong knowledge of dental terminology and anatomy.
Experience in infection control protocols within a dental clinic setting.
Proficiency in patient care techniques and assessment methods.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient education and comfort.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $49.49 - $51.47 per hour
Expected hours: 16 â 32 per week
