Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental family. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, performing dental cleanings, and educating patients on oral hygiene practices. This role requires a strong foundation in dental anatomy, patient assessment, and aseptic techniques to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Duties

Conduct thorough patient assessments to evaluate oral health and hygiene needs.
Perform dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing teeth to remove plaque and tartar.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
Assist in pediatric dentistry by providing care tailored to younger patients.
Maintain a sterile environment by adhering to aseptic techniques during all procedures.
Document patient care accurately in accordance with medical coding standards.
Collaborate with dentists and dental assistants to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Stay updated on advancements in general dentistry practices and technologies.

Requirements

Knowledge of anatomy related to dental health and hygiene practices.
Experience in general dentistry and familiarity with dental assisting preferred.
Strong skills in patient assessment and the ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages.
Understanding of pediatric dentistry principles is a plus.
Proficient in maintaining aseptic techniques within the dental office setting.
Ability to provide compassionate patient care while ensuring comfort during procedures.
