Qualifications
Valid dental hygiene license
Proficient in chairside assisting and patient care
Strong knowledge of dental and medical terminology
Experience with patient assessment and general dentistry
Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and medical records management
Skilled in using dental software such as Eaglesoft and Dentrix
Knowledge of pediatric dentistry and four-handed dentistry techniques
Ability to take vital signs and perform medical imaging
Responsibilities
Provide dental hygiene care for assigned patients.
Conduct patient assessments and document medical histories in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
Utilize dental software such as Eaglesoft, Open Dental or Dentrix for patient records and scheduling.
Maintain a sterile environment by adhering to aseptic techniques and infection control protocols.
Collaborate with the dental team to deliver comprehensive patient care, including pediatric dentistry when necessary.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract
Pay: $65.00 - $70.00 per hour
Expected hours: 16 â 32 per week
