Duties:
- Perform dental hygiene procedures, including dental cleanings, scaling, and root planing- Take and develop dental x-rays- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide oral health instructions- Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide as needed- Assist the dentist during dental procedures- Maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix and Dexis dental practice management systems- Follow infection control protocols and maintain a clean and sterile environment- Collaborate with the dental team to provide comprehensive patient care
Requirements:
- Valid Dental Hygienist license in Missouri- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program- Proficiency in medical coding and billing procedures- Experience with Dentrix, Epic, Eaglesoft, or other dental practice management systems- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask- Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures- Ability to work well in a team environment
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $38.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32 per week
