YOUR DAY AS A REGISTERED DENTAL HYGIENIST
As a new Registered Dental Hygienist at Katy Trail Community Health, you can expect an engaging and fulfilling day-to-day experience. Your primary responsibilities will include performing thorough dental cleanings, conducting patient assessments, and educating patients on oral hygiene practices. You will work closely with dentists to assist in treatment planning and provide support during various dental procedures. Your schedule will be Monday, Thursday, and Friday from 7 AM to 6 PM, allowing you to deliver quality care while enjoying a balanced workweek.
Expect to maintain detailed patient records, manage sterilization protocols, and engage in ongoing patient follow-up for optimal oral health. Additionally, you'll participate in community outreach programs aimed at raising awareness about dental health, making your role vital in promoting community well-being.
