Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to patients, focusing on preventive care and education. This role requires a compassionate professional who is comfortable working with patients of all ages, including children, and has a strong understanding of dental practices and terminology.
Responsibilities
Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations to assess oral health.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
Maintain accurate medical records and document patient treatment plans in accordance with office protocols.
Assist the dentist during procedures as required, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
Utilize dental software for record keeping and scheduling.
Stay current on advancements in dental hygiene practices and participate in continuing education opportunities.
Skills
Proficient knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and medical records management.
Experience in pediatrics or pediatric dentistry is highly desirable.
Familiarity with dental assisting tasks to support the dentist effectively.
Strong communication skills to educate patients clearly about their oral health.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while providing exceptional patient care.
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Pay: $50.04 - $53.12 per hour
