Our wonderful family dental practice is seeking an exceptional Registered Dental Hygienist for an opportunity to join our dedicated and caring team.

Who We're Looking For
This Registered Dental Hygienist will be an integral part of our team and will work closely with the Dentist to provide a unified experience to our patients at every stage of their care. We have a great team that enjoys working together towards our common goals. You will need to be comfortable talking with and interacting with patients of all walks of life and with our team. We are looking for a hygienist that is available to work a minimum of 2-3 days per week with the interest in growing that to 4 days over the next 6-12 months. We will consider part time candidates as well for the right person and fit!
Responsibilities
- Welcome and establish a relationship of trust with patients and build and maintain that relationship throughout their care with us.
- Maintain a schedule of 7-11 ppd on average depending on the type of care being delivered. (NP, SRP, Prophy, etc)
- Take high quality radiographs and intraoral photos
- Record oral health and periodontal findings accurately
- Work together well with the doctor and partner to determine the best course of action for each patient
- Provide excellent quality care in all aspects of cleaning, debridement and maintenance.
- Provide patient education and recommend home treatment plans to enhance patient compliance and involvement in their care
- Discuss patient treatment needs in a clear, informative and compassionate way while emphasizing the importance of following through with their oral health needs.
- Safely and accurately deliver local anesthesia
- Nitrous Oxide certification
- Able to identify existing restorations and recognize oral health needs
- Perform sealants
- Work together with the team to keep a clean and functional environment.
- Familiarity with Dentrix a plus.
- Maintain all certifications, BLS and licensure
