Job Description
Job OverviewWe are seeking a qualified Dental Assistant to join our team. New grads are also welcome to apply. We are a modern, family friendly, patient oriented dental office, not a dental chain, working at a comfortable pace. Digital dental x-rays, dental lasers, as well as other modern dental equipment are used. The ideal candidate will support our dental care delivery by preparing treatment rooms, patient management, and executing various dental procedures. We offer excellent compensation, paid time off, and schedule flexibility. Sign on bonus to qualified candidates will be considered.
Responsibilities- Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures- Set up and breakdown operatory rooms- Take digital dental radiographs (x-rays)- Provide patients with instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental treatment procedures- Maintain accurate patient records and with OSHA standards- Manage inventory of dental supplies and equipment
Skills- Proficiency in assisting with general dentistry procedures- Knowledge of dental software and x-ray certification- Familiarity with medical documentation requirements in a dental setting- Ability to perform dental assisting tasks using aseptic techniques- Experience in patient friendly dentistry is a plus- Familiarity with Dentrix or other computer dental clinic management systems
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $28.00 - $32.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 â 35 per week
