Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to patients while ensuring their comfort and safety. This role involves performing thorough cleanings, educating patients on oral hygiene, and assisting the dental team in delivering exceptional care.
Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive dental cleanings and assessments for patients.
Review patient documentation and medical history to ensure accurate treatment planning.
Implement infection control protocols to maintain a safe and sterile environment.
Utilize medical imaging techniques to assist in diagnosing dental conditions.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits.
Record vital signs and maintain accurate patient records in accordance with dental terminology.
Assist in various dental procedures as needed, including pediatric dentistry tasks.
Collaborate with the dental team to enhance patient experience and treatment outcomes.
Experience
Previous experience in a dental office setting is preferred, with familiarity in using Eaglesoft software being a plus.
Knowledge of infection control procedures and medical imaging techniques is essential.
Experience working with pediatric patients is highly desirable, demonstrating an ability to engage effectively with children.
Proficiency in dental terminology and documentation review is required to ensure accurate communication within the team and with patients.

Pay: $45.00 - $50.00 per hour
