OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a crucial role in promoting oral health and providing exceptional care to our patients in a supportive and professional environment.
Responsibilities
Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical histories and oral examinations.
Perform dental cleanings, scaling, and root planing while ensuring patient comfort.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
Maintain accurate medical records and update patient information using Eaglesoft or similar systems.
Implement infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for both patients and staff.
Assist in four-handed dentistry procedures alongside the dentist to enhance efficiency during treatments.
Collaborate with the dental team to develop individualized treatment plans for patients.
Stay current with advancements in dental hygiene practices and participate in continuing education opportunities.
Experience
A valid Dental Hygienist license is required.
Familiarity with dental office operations, including patient care systems and medical records management.
Knowledge of general dentistry practices, infection control standards, and dental terminology is essential.
Previous experience working in a dental office setting is preferred but not mandatory; new graduates are encouraged to apply.
Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with patients are essential for success in this role.
