Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice for 3 days a week. Become a valued addition to our busy practice which consists of two amazing dentists, two hygienists, and 6 dental assistants. The ideal candidate will provide quality dental care and oral hygiene services to our patients. New graduates welcome to apply!
Responsibilities:
- Perform dental cleanings and SRP- Take dental x-rays- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices- Conduct initial patient screenings and chart patient treatment plans- Maintain and sterilize dental equipment- Update and maintain patient dental records
Qualifications:
- Valid state licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist in the state of Virginia- Proficient in taking vital signs- Experience with Dentrix is a plus- Good bed side manner- Familiarity with general dentistry procedures- Strong grasp of infection control protocols in a dental setting- Ability to manage medical records and documentation accurately
