Job Description

State of the Art Dental Office in Santa Clara is looking for a team-oriented, personable, and organized Dental Assistant (DA/RDA) to oversee all aspects of our back office and help in the front as needed.

Responsibilities include:

• Assisting the dentist during a variety of dental procedures
• Preparing treatment rooms for procedures and maintaining a clean and organized environment.
• Taking dental x-rays.
• Polishing teeth after Prophy
• Providing oral hygiene and postoperative instructions to patients
• Sterilizing dental instruments and equipment
• Maintaining accurate patient records
• Ordering and stocking dental supplies
• Maintaining a professional and positive attitude at all times

• High school diploma; graduated from dental assistant school
• Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods, understanding of health and safety regulations.
