Job Description
Job OverviewWe are seeking a friendly Dental Receptionist to join our long established small family dental practice in North Raleigh/Six Forks Rd area. We are an independent owned dental practice with no corporate affiliation. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our patients, providing customer service while managing administrative tasks. This role requires a strong understanding of dental terminology and procedures, as well as proficiency in Dentrix dental software. We would also prefer some dental assisting experience to assist when needed. The Dental Receptionist will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the office and enhancing patient experiences.
Responsibilities
Greet patients and manage the check-in and check-out process.
Schedule appointments and manage the appointment calendar efficiently.
Handle patient inquiries and provide information about services offered.
Maintain accurate patient records, including dental documentation and dental imaging.
Support dental staff with administrative tasks as needed, including assisting with four-handed dentistry.
Ensure compliance with health regulations and maintain a clean, organized reception area.
Skills
Proficiency in Dentrix dental software is preferred.
Familiarity with dental terminology, dental coding, and documentation.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
X-Ray certification is required.
Previous experience in a dental is required.

Pay: $19.54 - $25.00 per hour
