Job Title: Dental Assistant with Front Desk & Insurance Experience

Job Responsibilities:
Assist the dentist during procedures by preparing instruments, materials, and ensuring patient comfort.
Take and develop dental X-rays in compliance with state regulations.
Maintain accurate patient records and ensure charts are up to date.
Manage front desk duties, including scheduling appointments, greeting patients, and handling inquiries.
Verify insurance eligibility, submit electronic claims, and follow up on outstanding claims.
Process aging reports and manage outstanding account balances efficiently.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace in accordance with OSHA and infection control protocols.
Assist with sterilization of instruments and equipment.
Qualifications:
CPR Certification (required).
X-Ray Certification (required).
Proven experience as a Dental Assistant with strong front desk and administrative skills.
Proficiency in Dentrix dental software systems (required).
Strong understanding of dental insurance billing, claims processing, and aging reports.
Excellent communication skills and a friendly, patient-focused attitude.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
