Dental Assistant needed in our dental office

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office while providing exceptional care to our patients. As a Dental Assistant, you will work closely with dentists and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality dental services.

Duties

• Assist the dentist during various procedures, including examinations, fillings, and extractions.
• Prepare and maintain dental instruments and equipment, ensuring they are sterile and ready for use.
• Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.

• Maintain accurate medical documentation and patient records in compliance with regulations.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-operative care.
• Manage appointment scheduling and assist with front desk duties as needed.
• Ensure adherence to infection control protocols and aseptic techniques throughout the practice.
• Monitor vital signs when necessary and assist in patient assessments.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Dental Assistant or in a similar role is preferred.
• Familiarity with 3D scanning technology is a plus.
• Understanding of endodontics procedures is beneficial.
• Strong skills in infection control measures and aseptic techniques are essential.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Certification in CPR or Basic Life Support (BLS) is preferred.
