Dental Assistant + Profit Sharing!
We are seeking a driven and experienced Dental Assistant to join our amazing team in Plymouth, Wisconsin! The position will be for 4 days per week, and we're offering a starting wage range of $19-22/hr.

Responsibilities include:

Gathering patient information and health background
Providing patient care and support
Taking X-rays of patient’s teeth and processing results
Preparing the treatment rooms, patient records, equipment and necessary instruments for dental procedures in accordance with universal safety precautions and other safety standards.
Providing chairside assistance to the Dentist including but not limited to basic and complex restorative, surgical, endodontic, pediatric, emergency and preventive dental treatment procedures
Educating patients on good oral hygiene habits
Setting up rooms correctly for crowns, dental impressions, fillings, implants and other procedures
Explaining consents in detail, answer patient questions and obtain patient signatures.
Performing coronal polishing, sealant application, fluoride application, and topical anesthetic application
Maintaining a clean work environment and dental equipment to meet OSHA and Center for Disease Control sterilization and infection control regulatory standards
Maintaining dental equipment in proper working order
Conserving dental resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results
Ensuring operation of dental equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements, following manufacturer’s instructions, troubleshooting malfunctions, calling for repairs, maintaining equipment inventories, and evaluating new equipment and techniques
Stocking treatment areas
Contributing to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
Conducting work in compliance with Federal, State, and other regulations, (i.e. OSHA, HIPAA, ADA, etc.) and clinic policies and practices
Directing patients and maintaining schedule consistent with business goals
Other duties may be assigned

Requirements:

Accurate and precise attention to detail
Excellent understanding of dental hygiene procedures
Compassionate and caring of patients
Knowledge of aseptic and sterilization techniques
Ability to be well-organized and reliable
Ability to maintain professional and technical knowledge
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Able to work in an intense, concentrated environment
Calm and cool-headed with a positive attitude
Complies with all regulations, protocols, and procedures
Current certification in CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation)
X-Ray Certification: Meet all local and state requirements to operate radiography equipment

Our office hours are:

Monday: 8:00am - 5:00pm
Tuesday: 8:00am - 5:00pm
Wednesday: 8:00am - 5:00pm
Thursday: 8:00am - 5:00pm
