Agape is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) that employs a patient centered approach, providing access to high quality, affordable primary care, dental care, and behavioral health preventive and wellness services to people of all ages regardless of their financial or insurance status or the ability to pay in Beaufort, Martin, and Washington counties.
Our state-of-the-art dental practice is searching for a skilled and experienced Dentist with excellent communication skills to join our professional team. The ideal candidate for this position has worked with patients of all ages, is proficient in performing regular checkups and complex dental procedures and is committed to the highest quality of patient care. Our centers are National Health Service Corps approved sites and therefore quality for the NHSC loan repayment program which you are eligible to receive up to $50,000 in exchange for two years of service to the health center. Our ideal candidate will….
Be responsible for providing primary dental care to patients; diagnosing patient problems on the basis of history, physical examination, and interpretation of x-rays.
Assess socio-economic and cultural influences while also being responsible for providing a general climate of cooperation and understanding.
Experience Preferred: Minimum 3 - 5 years’ experience in public health setting
Professional Licensure: Current North Carolina Board of Dental Examiners license; current DEA license
Certification(s): BLS/ACLS/PALS
