Job Description

We are looking for a full-time Monday - Friday dental assistant who is friendly and outgoing. After 90 days employment you are eligible for 2 new uniforms. Join our team of professionals for a long term career.
Responsibilities

Prepare customers for treatments or checkups ensuring their comfort
Select and set up instruments, equipment and material needed
Sterilize instruments according to regulations
Assist the dentist through 4-handed dentistry
Undertake lab tasks as instructed
Provide oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions
Keep the dental room clean and well-stocked

Skills

Proven experience as dental assistant
Outgoing and cheerful personality
Able to pack cord and make temporary impressions
Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods
Understanding of health & safety regulations
Good computer skills
Excellent communication and people skills
Attention to detail
Well-organized and reliable
High school diploma; graduating from dental assistant school is preferred
Additional certification or training is an asset (e.g. EFDA)
Knowledge of Open Dental Software is a plus

Education:

High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

Dental Assisting: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

Registered Dental Assistant (Preferred)
X-Ray Certification (Preferred)

Ability to Relocate:

Broward County, FL: Relocate before starting work (Required)
