Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team in providing exceptional dental care. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of dental practices and terminology, with experience in both general dentistry and pediatrics. As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a crucial role in promoting oral health and ensuring patient comfort during dental procedures.
Responsibilities
Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations for patients of all ages.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
Document patient medical histories, treatment plans, and progress notes accurately in the medical records.
Assist the dentist during procedures by providing necessary tools and support.
Maintain a clean and aseptic environment in accordance with safety protocols.
Stay updated on advancements in dental hygiene practices and technologies.
Skills
Proficient knowledge of dental terminology and anatomy.
Experience with Eaglesoft software for managing patient records is preferred.
Familiarity with medical terminology and coding relevant to dental practices.
Strong understanding of aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety.
Ability to work effectively with children in a pediatric setting.
Excellent communication skills to educate patients about their oral health.
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills for maintaining accurate medical records.

Pay: $68.00 - $70.00 per hour
