We are hiring a passionate dental hygienist to join our team for our opening June 2nd.

Job Description: We seek a skilled and enthusiastic registered dental hygienist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be committed to delivering high-quality dental care and educating patients on proper oral hygiene practices. Our office uses the latest technology, such as cloud-based software so that you can have conveniences such as voice charting. We value our hygienists, ensuring appropriately long appointments for your well-being and providing thorough care for our patients.
Compensation: $55-75 per hour with benefits below. Specific compensation will be based on experience and qualifications; new graduates start at $55, but raises will be available based on performance reviews and tenure.

Responsibilities:
• Conduct patient screenings, including assessment of oral health conditions, health history review, oral cancer screenings, and dental charting.
• Perform thorough dental cleanings and periodontal therapies.
• Take dental radiographs.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene strategies, including brushing, flossing, and nutritional counseling.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Collaborate with the dentist and other team members to provide comprehensive patient care.
Appointment Scheduling:
• Recare (routine cleaning) appointments: 1 hour.
• New patient appointments are 2 hours long (1 hour for radiographs, charting, and doctor exams; 1 hour for prophylaxis or SRP quadrant).
• Scaling and Root Planing (SRP): 1 hour per quadrant.
Qualifications:
• Current Washington State Dental Hygiene license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Three years minimum experience preferred, open to the right candidate closer to graduation.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Proficiency in dental software and digital radiography.
