Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to our patients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction during visits. This role requires a strong understanding of dental hygiene practices, patient assessment, and effective communication skills to educate patients on oral health.
Duties

Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history and oral health evaluations.
Perform dental cleanings
Utilize Open Dental software for patient management and record-keeping.
Implement infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to maintain a safe environment.
Provide education on oral hygiene practices, dietary recommendations, and preventive care.
Demonstrate knowledge of dental anatomy and medical terminology during patient interactions.
Collaborate with dentists and dental assistants to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Requirements

Valid dental hygienist license in the state of practice.
Proficiency in patient assessment and infection control practices.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate patients effectively.
Previous experience in dental assisting is a plus but not required.
Commitment to maintaining a clean and organized work environment
