Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care while ensuring the highest standards of infection control and safety. This role requires proficiency in various dental systems and procedures, as well as a commitment to promoting oral health and educating patients about their dental hygiene.
Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive dental cleanings and examinations, including scaling and polishing teeth.
Utilize medical imaging techniques to assist in diagnosing dental conditions.
Maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix and Eaglesoft systems.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits.
Assist the dentist during procedures, employing four-handed dentistry techniques for efficiency.
Ensure compliance with infection control protocols to maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.
Conduct preliminary assessments of patients’ oral health, including reviewing medical histories.
Collaborate with the dental team to develop treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.

Qualifications

Valid state license to practice as a Dental Hygienist.
Proficiency in medical coding and familiarity with general dentistry practices.
Experience with medical imaging technologies is preferred.
Knowledge of infection control standards and practices in a dental setting.
Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on patient care and comfort.
Ability to work effectively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
Previous experience with Dentrix or Eaglesoft software is a plus.
