Job Description
Lee Plaza Dental is looking for a part-time or full-time registered dental hygienist (RDH). Someone who is a team player and dependable. Experience with Dentrix is a plus! New grads welcome!Dental Hygienist Duties and Responsibilities:
Gather patient information and health history
Take x-rays when necessary
Identify conditions like gingivitis, caries or periodontitis
Perform Scaling & Root Planings, periodontal maintenance and prophy's
Educate patients on good oral hygiene habits
Update patient records
Sterilizing dental instruments and equipment
Dental Hygienist Requirements and Qualifications:
Associate degree or bachelor's degree in dental hygiene from an accredited program
1 year of RDH experience preferred. New grads welcome!
Current Missouri RDH license, CPR current certification, certified for local anesthetic delivery
Excellent understanding of dental hygiene procedures
Knowledge of aseptic and sterilization techniques
Excellent communication skills
Knowledge of Dentrix Software is a plus
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $45.00 - $50.00 per hour
