Job Description

We are seeking a fun and personable assistant to join our pediatric dental office in Darien, CT. We are a small and creative team that love our job and want to bring someone in to grow with us and be a long term part of our work family
Responsibilities:- Assist in the setup and breakdown of dental procedures and examinations-Help create a positive and engaging visit for parents and the children- Adhere to safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized work environment- Perform various office tasks as needed-Be a team player and help other team members as needed-Dental assistant duties such as assisting, x-rays, perform oral hygiene instruction-Help assist in training team members as needed-Perform sterilization procedures for dental equipment and instruments and maintain accurate records- Ensure proper handling and storage of sterilized items
Ideal Skills:- Experience working in a healthcare setting, preferably in pediatrics or dental assisting- Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures or open to learning- Familiarity with maintaining and organizing dental records or health records- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately- Excellent communication skills to effectively talk to families-Open to learning and growth-Bubbly and energetic personality
**Requirements**CPR, ICE certification, Radiation certification
