Job Description
Job OverviewPrivately owned dental practice seeking a dedicated and organized Receptionist to join our team. As with any practice, our front desk serves as the first point of contact for our patients, and we greatly value the influence our staff has on the patient experience. This role also requires a strong understanding of dental terminology and procedures, as well as being comfortable with dental software (we use Eaglesoft).
Duties
Greet patients warmly and assist them with check-in and check-out procedures.
Schedule appointments and manage the appointment calendar.
Maintain accurate patient records, including updating information.
Verify and update insurances for upcoming appointments.
Handle incoming calls, respond to inquiries, and provide information about services offered.
Manage billing inquiries and assist patients with payment options.
Ensure the front desk area is organized, clean, and welcoming for patients.
Collaborate with dental staff to facilitate efficient patient flow.
Skills
Dental background with understanding of terminology and procedures.
Experience using dental software such as Eaglesoft.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for accurate record keeping.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a professional demeanor.
