Job Description

Vivid Prosthodontics is a solo doctor office that specializes in prosthodontics. You’ll be helping restore and renew patients smiles in a big way! An ideal candidate will be self-motivated, positive, and patient centered. Our current staff member is leaving to go to dental school!
We have a small staff, so we are looking for someone to have a dual role helping with admin duties and assisting duties. If you are someone who was thinking about transitioning from assisting to the front desk, but still like to work with patients occasionally in the back, this is for you!
We are looking for someone with at least some dental background. Preferrably at least a year experience in the dental field. Hours are Tuesday-Thursday 8-5 and Friday 8-1. We travel to Mount Pleasant every other Monday. We see patients from 9-4. Staff alternate traveling. There are also hours available to answer phones from home on Mondays. The staff currently alternate these days.

Responsibilities include:

Helping answer phones
Helping check patients out/collect money/schedule
Chair side assisting (when needed)
Aiding with patient coordination between other specialty offices
Sterilization
Setting up and breaking down rooms
Taking x-rays
Treatment notes
Checking lab cases in and out
3D Printing
Making custom trays/essix retainers as needed
Taking digital impressions

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour
