OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and assisting the dentist during various procedures. Responsibilities

Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow.
Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment according to safety protocols.
Take and develop X-rays as needed, ensuring proper techniques are followed.
Maintain accurate medical documentation for patient records.
Manage patient appointments and assist with front desk duties as needed, including scheduling and confirming appointments.
Utilize dental software such as Dentrix for patient management and record keeping.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
Support pediatric dentistry procedures with patience and care for young patients.
Operate 3D scanners for imaging when required.
Ensure compliance with all health regulations and safety standards within the dental clinic.

Skills

Proficient in medical documentation practices relevant to dental care.
Experience working in a dental clinic setting is preferred.
Familiarity with dental receptionist duties is an asset.
Strong knowledge of anatomy related to dental health.
Proficiency in using Dentrix or similar dental software systems.
Experience with assisting in four-handed dentistry techniques.
Ability to operate a 3D scanner effectively for imaging purposes.
Knowledge of pediatric dentistry principles is beneficial.
Competence in taking X-rays safely and accurately.
