Job Description

As a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA), you will play a key role in supporting our dental team and ensuring our patients feel comfortable and cared for. Your primary responsibilities will include preparing treatment rooms, assisting the dentist during procedures, and providing excellent patient care and education.
Key Responsibilities:

Assist the dentist during a variety of dental procedures, including restorations, extractions, and other treatments.
Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments in compliance with OSHA standards.
Take and upload dental X-rays and ensure accurate patient records.
Educate patients on oral hygiene, post-operative care, and dental procedures.
Perform lab tasks such as pouring impressions and fabricating temporary crowns.
Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked operatory and treatment area.
Monitor and help create an order for clinical supplies to ensure seamless operations.
Provide a positive, compassionate, and professional experience for every patient.
Uphold all safety and infection control protocols.

Requirements:

Valid and current Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) certification in Arkansas.
High school diploma or equivalent.
CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain).
Proficiency in taking digital X-rays and working with Eaglesoft dental software.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
A positive attitude and commitment to delivering outstanding patient care.

Preferred Qualifications:

1-2 years of experience as an RDA in a dental practice.
Knowledge of Dentrix or similar dental management software.
Experience assisting with a variety of dental procedures, including oral surgery or orthodontics.
