Job Description
Responsibilities
Greeting and welcoming patients to the practice
Maintaining front office COVID-19 health and safety measures
Scheduling, rescheduling, confirming, and canceling appointments as needed
Updating patient information and documenting recent treatments and procedures
Communicating with dental insurance providers
Performing general office duties, such as answering telephones and e-mails, filing and faxing
Welcome patients in the dental office
Prepare patients for treatments or checkups ensuring their comfort.
Skills
Proven experience as dental assistant
Good computer skills
Excellent communication and people skills
Attention to detail
Well-organized and reliable
High school diploma; graduating from dental assistant school is preferred
PRIOR EXPERIENCE preferred we are willing to train the write person.
Knowledge of Open Dental software a plus, but not required
Working knowledge of general administrative practices
Good telephone etiquette
Excellent organizational skills
Excellent communication skills
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
