Job Description
Our office is seeking a full time Dental Assistant to join our growing family.
We are a boutique, state-of-the-art, long-standing 10 operatory practice with a growing patient base and a large team of experienced and tenured staff. We take pride in forming long lasting relationships with all our patients and staff and have very low turnover.
Our ideal candidate is an excellent team-player with a positive mindset and 2+ years of experience as a Dental Assistant. CDA preferred.
Responsibilities
Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures
Set up and breakdown operatory post treatment
Take dental radiographs (x-rays) and DSLR photos
Record patient charting and all of the dentistâs notes in the digital patient chart as directed by the dentist
Manage infection control - prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment
Provide patients with instructions for oral care following all dental treatment procedures
Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain oral health
Perform various office tasks as necessary
