Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and assisting the dentist during various procedures. This position requires a strong understanding of dental practices, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Duties

Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow.
Prepare and maintain dental instruments and equipment, adhering to aseptic techniques.
Take and manipulate digital Xray imaging, to assist in diagnosis.
Manage patient records using dental clinic systems such as Dentrix.
Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
Perform four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during procedures.
Support prosthodontic procedures by preparing materials and instruments as needed.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dental clinic environment.
Monitor and alert your Doctor weekly when supplies are low.

Experience

Previous experience as a Dental Assistant in a clinical setting is preferred.
Knowledge of anatomy related to dental health is advantageous.
Familiarity with dental software systems, especially Dentrix, is a plus.
Proficiency in digital imaging techniques and assisting with various dental procedures is essential.
Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients and team members.

Pay: $22.44 - $24.52 per hour
