Duties and Responsibilities
Performing exams and evaluating X-rays to determine a patient's oral health status.
Developing individualized treatment plans to address specific dental issues.
Filling cavities to restore teeth functionality and comfort.
Expertly applying crowns, installing bridges, and fitting implants to repair and replace missing or damaged teeth.
Administering and prescribing appropriate medications to alleviate pain and aid in the treatment of dental conditions.
Interacting professionally with patients, providing guidance and education on oral hygiene and preventive dental care.
Accurately measuring and fitting dental appliances to ensure patient comfort and appliance functionality.
Maintaining detailed and accurate patient records, documenting all procedures and treatments performed.
Requirements
Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) from an accredited institution.
Valid state dental license and adherence to all state and federal regulations regarding dental and health care.
Strong diagnostic skills and proficiency in dental procedures.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients and staff.
Commitment to continuing education in dental practices and techniques.
Ability to work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced environment.
Sound judgment and ability to handle dental emergencies effectively.
