Position Overview
We’re seeking a dedicated and compassionate Part-Time Dental Hygienist to join our team on Thursdays and Fridays. This role is ideal for both new graduates and experienced hygienists looking for a supportive, dynamic environment. As part of our team, you’ll be responsible for providing high-quality care to our patients, contributing to a positive and efficient office experience.
Responsibilities

Perform dental cleanings, scaling, and root planing to maintain oral health for patients
Educate patients on oral hygiene best practices and post-treatment care
Conduct thorough assessments of patients’ oral health, including examining teeth, gums, and mouth for signs of disease
Take and process dental X-rays as needed
Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures by preparing the treatment area and providing instruments
Maintain a clean, sterilized, and organized workspace to ensure a safe environment for both patients and staff
Document patient care and treatment plans accurately in the Dentrix system (training available if needed)
Build positive relationships with patients and team members, fostering a collaborative, family-friendly atmosphere

Qualifications

Active state Dental Hygienist license
No prior experience required—new graduates are encouraged to apply
Dentrix experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate
