*Job Summary*
Looking to hire a hygienist for Monday-Wednesday 8:45am-4pm, and Thursday's 8:45am-5pm.
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dental Hygienist to join our dental team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and promoting oral health through preventive dental services. You will work closely with dentists and other staff to ensure a comfortable and efficient experience for our patients. *Responsibilities* - Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations, including scaling, polishing, and fluoride treatments. - Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits. - Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed. - Document patient treatment plans and maintain accurate records using Dentrix software. - Assist in the management of patient flow within the office to ensure timely appointments. - Monitor and record vital signs to assess patient health prior to procedures. - Maintain aseptic techniques and adhere to infection control protocols. - Collaborate with dentists in four-handed dentistry procedures to enhance patient care efficiency. - Stay updated on dental terminology, anatomy knowledge, and advancements in dental hygiene practices. *Requirements* - Valid state license to practice as a Dental Hygienist. - Proficiency in using Dentrix or similar dental software is preferred. - Strong understanding of aseptic techniques and infection control practices. - Knowledge of anatomy, dental terminology, and medical imaging processes. - Experience in patient care within a dental office setting is highly desirable. - Ability to perform dental assisting tasks when necessary. - Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient education and comfort. - Strong attention to detail and ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. Pay: $40.00 - $47.00 per hour
