OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care and education to our patients. This role requires a strong understanding of dental terminology, infection control practices, and proficiency in dental software systems. Duties
Conduct thorough dental cleanings and examinations to assess patients' oral health.
Take and develop medical imaging as needed for diagnostic purposes.
Maintain accurate medical records and document patient treatment plans using Dentrix or Eaglesoft software.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
Assist in pediatric dentistry procedures, ensuring a comfortable experience for young patients.
Monitor vital signs as necessary during patient assessments.
Implement infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for both patients and staff.
Collaborate with dentists and other team members to provide comprehensive patient care.
Qualifications
Valid state license to practice as a Dental Hygienist.
Proficiency in dental terminology and familiarity with medical coding practices.
Experience with Dentrix or Eaglesoft software is preferred but not required.
Knowledge of pediatric dentistry is a plus.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills are essential.
Ability to assist with various dental procedures as needed.

Pay: $52.00 - $65.00 per hour
