Job Description

Sunrise Dental Care is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Hygiene Assistant to support our dental hygienists in providing exceptional patient care. The ideal candidate will assist with clinical tasks, patient preparation, and workflow management to ensure a seamless and positive experience for our patients.
Key Responsibilities:

Assist dental hygienists with polishing, flossing, and other hygiene procedures.
Prepare and set up rooms with necessary instruments and materials before hygiene appointments.
Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment according to office protocols.
Take and process X-rays as instructed by the hygienist or dentist (if licensed).
Educate patients on post-treatment oral care and hygiene best practices.
Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workspace.
Provide additional support to the hygienist as needed during procedures.
Ensure patient comfort and address any concerns or questions during their visit.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Dental Assistant certification required.
Experience as a Dental or Hygiene Assistant is a plus.
Knowledge of dental terminology, instruments, and sterilization procedures.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on patient care.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and work collaboratively as part of a team.
X-ray certification is a bonus but not required.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
