Eastern Virginia Pediatric Dentistry is seeking an energetic and compassionate pediatric dental assistant who is a dedicated team player, for our fast paced and growing practice.
Our mission is to build lifelong relationships with children and families and create a FUN environment for all of our patients and team members.
The candidate we are seeking must possess the following:

Great communication skills and connect with patients and team members
Ability to multi-task with a busy schedule while being engaged and attentive
Adhere to standard of care policies such as proper documentation, OSHA, HIPAA, etc.
Exemplify our culture, values and commitment to patient satisfaction
Be a team player!
Possess empathy and a caring attitude with the team and patients
Work hand in hand with doctor and support staff to set and accomplish goals
Be confident in discussing all aspects of treatment
Have X-Ray Certification and CPR/BLS Certification
Be willing to learn and be coached
Be dependable
OR privileges and experience with sedation dentistry a plus

Skills Required

Proficient in making children and parents feel comfortable
Proficient in 4 handed dentistry
Sealant application
Proficient in the use of computers and dental software
2+ years experience in Pediatric Dentistry preferred

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 36 per week
