Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team in providing exceptional dental care to our patients. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of dental terminology and experience with various dental systems, including EagleSoft. This role involves working closely with both patients and the dental team to ensure high-quality care in a welcoming environment. $5000 sign on bonus available.
Duties
Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations, utilizing aseptic techniques to maintain patient safety.
Assist in the documentation review of patient records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with clinic standards.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits.
Take and record vital signs as necessary during patient assessments.
Collaborate with the dental team in both general dentistry and pediatric dentistry settings to provide comprehensive care.
Utilize knowledge of dental terminology to communicate effectively with patients and staff.
Maintain cleanliness and organization within the dental clinic, adhering to all health regulations.
Experience
Previous experience as a Dental Hygienist in a clinical setting is preferred.
Familiarity with Dentrix or similar dental management systems is a plus.
Knowledge of pediatric dentistry practices is beneficial but not mandatory.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment are essential.
