Job OverviewWe are seeking a skilled Dental Office Receptionist / Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist with various front office and dental procedures and provide support to both the dentist and patients.
Duties- Assist the dentist during dental procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques- Prepare and maintain dental instruments, equipment, and treatment areas- Take and develop dental X-rays- Record patient medical history and vital signs- Provide post-operative instructions prescribed by the dentist- Maintain accurate patient records using electronic medical documentation systems
Qualifications- Previous experience working in a dental clinic is preferred- Proficiency in aseptic technique and infection control practices- Knowledge of pediatric dentistry is a plus- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment- Strong communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with patients- Certification in Dental Assisting is preferred.- Familiarity with medical records systems is advantageous
