Job Description
Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care while assisting the dentist during various procedures. This position requires a strong understanding of dental terminology, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
Assist the students with learning about dental examinations and procedures.
Train dental lab students to prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
Take and develop X-rays for training purposes only.
Utilize dental software for training students.
Support students to understand how to create a welcoming environment for young patients.
Operate 3D scanners for advanced imaging and treatment planning and demonstrate how to use scanners to students.
Educate students on oral hygiene, post-operative care, and treatment plans.
Maintain an organized and clean work area to promote safety and efficiency.
Collaborate with team members to ensure high-quality patient care in general dentistry and prosthodontics.
Ideal candidate has experience using 3D Dental printers and the ability to learn the process.
Requirements
Previous experience in dental assisting is preferred, with a knowledge of prosthetics dental
Familiarity with dental terminology and procedures is essential.
Proficiency in using dental software systems
Ability to perform X-ray imaging safely and effectively.
Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Excellent interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships with patients and staff.
Willingness to learn new techniques and stay updated on industry advancements.
