Registered Dental Assistant – Greater Knoxville, TNOverview:
A premier Family Dental Practice in Maryville, TN, is seeking a Dental Assistantto join their team on a 4-day schedule (Mon-Thurs).

Dental Assistant Responsibilities

Work with patients to make them comfortable and prepare them for treatment.
Preparation of dental materials, cements, composites, impression materials, and pouring up models.
Accurately recording dental records to completely reflect the nature of the contact, the condition of the patient and the care or treatment provided.
Educate and review dental treatment options, including billing and payment options.
Prevention and management of dental medical emergencies.
Keep the dental room clean and well-stocked.
Assisting with crown adjustments.
Operating X-ray and 3D scanning equipment for diagnostic purposes.
Preparing and sterilizing dental instruments, materials, and equipment in accordance with infection control and biohazard protocols.
Providing patients with information on oral health care, treatment plans, and postoperative outcomes.
Ensuring that instruments and equipment are effectively maintained.

Nice to Have:

Coronal polishing
EFDA
Sealants a plus
Minimum of 1 year experience

Requirements:

Comfortable with fillings, crowns, bridges, implants, partials, and denture procedures.
